A New Chapter

Almost 6 years ago my husband went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Even though I was a Christian and I knew with all my heart that God was with me and loved me, loneliness was present in my life. There were many times l felt that I was ready to go home to be with Jesus. About a year and a half ago, I started praying for a male friend or possibly a husband. I didn't know if I wanted to marry again but although I was open to the idea I was really thinking of a male friend. I wanted God to hand pick the right one for me. Then I met Tom. God supernaturally brought us together on a boat cruise where we talked for an hour and a half but then we didn't have any contact, except for a few texts, for 5 months. Prior to meeting Tom, his wife had also gone home to be with Jesus. When i met him he was still grieving the loss of his wife but about 5 months later he sensed one morning when he woke up that God was saying to turn the page as it was a new chapter in his life. Hence he drew courage from His Lord and asked me out. We spent time getting to know each other. I found Tom to be the man I had been praying for. He is a real gentleman, sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and very attentive to my needs. We both new that it would be more than friendship and at God's timing we became husband and wife. God has so blessed our relationship and we look forward to spending the rest of our lives together and being used of God in whatever capacity He wants to use us. Since God has done this for Tom and I, we would like to encourage you, if you are lonely or in a seemingly impossible situation. God wants to open a new Chapter in your life too.
