A great summer with God helping us in some challenges

Wow! What an amazing summer. After we returned from our Riverboat cruise in Europe, a week later we left for a week at a cottage where we enjoyed each other, beautiful weather, a trip across the lake for ice cream, fishing, swimming and a wonderful time with family on a boat, going through locks on the Trent system, getting rained on for a short time, having a picnic and having lots of fun sharing meals together. God is so good. We are truly thankful for His many blessings. Although the summer has been good, it has not been without challenges. Some of our family have been going through some health issues, a death, difficulty in relationships, etc. It has put Tom and I on our knees taking each situation to the Lord and trusting Him for a good outcome. We are so thankful that we know we can take these situations to the Lord, pray about them and leave them in God's capable hands. It is comforting to know that we can trust Him to meet every need, comfort every heart, guide and provide in every circumstance. Sometimes things don't turn around right away but we trust that God knows what is best and that He is pouring His love upon every hurting heart and guiding each one to a place of victory in Christ Jesus.
